News Update: Kambona-Malawi/Melbourne.

Meet Dr Marginean Carmen, a medical doctor from Rumania…visiting Kambona, Malawi, to lend a hand at our Mothers and Babies Health Centre for a week and then an additional stint at the Chiringa Clinc.

The doctor’s visit was arranged through Advance Africa an organization involved in placing overseas volunteers.

The doctor’s visit coincided with the Kids Camp at Kambona…which saw about 500 children gather at the school to celebrate holiday time.

Like children the world over, the children at Kambona involved themselves in a range of activities…indoors and outdoors…and with food as a ready ingredient.

Sports…song…..and readings…something for everyone

Kambona has also welcomed seven young university students from England who came to volunteer their involvement.
